Euklis is an Italian company specialized in security, video analytics and artificial intelligence. The company's key technology is FaRe Hybrid, a software platform that realizes different applications for the detection, classification, and authentication of people, vehicles and objects through the implementation of artificial intelligence techniques and the patented Predictive QR Code technology. Made available within a single platform, FaRe Hybrid provides multiple functionalities, including: access control, guest and external management with multi-factor authentication, license plate recognition and vehicle classification, alarm and incident management, video surveillance, intrusion detection, forensic functions of face and vehicle recognition from images or video recordings.

FaRe Hybrid, thanks to the Predictive QR Code, is also able to expand its field of application through digital payment services for contactless authentication.

The platform therefore emerges as a versatile and highly secure solution that bases its efficiency on 4 distinctive elements:

• artificial intelligence (AI): FaRe Hybrid uses artificial intelligence techniques from live or recorded video streams to detect, classify, and authenticate people, vehicles, and objects, realizing security and safety applications and improving the operations. People, vehicles, drones and persons on wheelchairs are just some of the entities that the platform is already trained to recognize. AI is applied to sensors (video surveillance cameras, readers, etc.) that are already deployed, thus avoiding costly new installations. This ease of integration with third-party systems preserves and enhances the investment Euklis' customers have made over the years;
• multi-factor authentication: FaRe Hybrid natively integrates multi-factor authentication by allowing physical access to predetermined areas, including restricted areas. Access is granted only when multiple authentication credentials are simultaneously recognized. Examples include: a vehicle license plate associated with a QR Code, a face and an electronic document, a badge and a PIN;
• Predictive QR Code: key technology of FaRe Hybrid is the Predictive QR Code, a patented system that enables secure authentication of the flows of people, vehicles and goods. Unlike a static QR Code, which can be easily copied or exchanged, the Predictive QR Code changes every 500 milliseconds and its validity expires with each change. Moreover, to ensure continuous operation, this technology can be read by a common QR Code reader or smartphone, even in offline mode (i.e., without an Internet connection). The Predictive QR Code realizes innovative applications in heterogeneous areas: visitor authentication, people counting, site attendance for workplace safety purposes, access control to restricted areas via multi-factor authentication, remote site management, certification of workers within worksites, time and attendance control, event management, and payment by authentication. Predictive QR Code is just the tip of the iceberg of FaRe Hybrid platform and represents a secure and sustainable authentication model. In this way, the platform not only uniquely certifies the person without ID verification, but also specifically addresses the safety directives that for corporate realities-and even more so for high-risk sites-are becoming increasingly urgent. In the management of emergency and evacuation situations, the system is able to intercept the capacity within the site in order to detect who is inside a given area. In addition, the Predictive QR Code is a fully digital system that takes advantage of a simple smartphone, thus avoiding the use of paper or plastic badges. In the smart city context, it can be used as a virtual card for multiple subscription services such as parking, gyms, coworking spaces, car/bike sharing, and more. Finally, the Predictive QR Code represents the only true secure mobile-to-mobile authentication solution;
• economic sustainability: at Euklis, innovation is a very important concept that also and especially considers economic sustainability. Why replacing technologies-which may no longer be cutting-edge today, but which have involved significant investments-when they could gain a new life through the implementation of artificial intelligence techniques? Therefore, a camera that has been installed for years but is still fully functional can innovatively realize anti-intrusion, license plate recognition, and face recognition functions thanks to FaRe Hybrid platform.

The offer of Euklis consists of perpetual or subscription-based software licenses, available on cloud or installed on premises.

Achievements

From 2017 to date, there have been many goals achieved by Euklis:

• FaRe Hybrid platform has already managed to position itself in heterogeneous areas: medium to large companies, industrial sites, municipalities, government agencies, highway concessionaires and airports are just some of the realities that have decided to rely on Euklis, preferring its solutions over those of national and international competitors;
• in addition to a constant growth of the turnover, which from 2020 to 2023 has seen an increase of 33%, decisive is the development of the number of partners and authorized concessionaires, in Italy and abroad;
• a very relevant point is the adoption by Milano Serravalle - one of the most important Italian highway concessionaires - of the Predictive QR Code for construction site safety management.
